MLF Bass Pro Tour Stage 3 Presented by TrueTimber® Airing Full Coverage on Discovery Channel

INMAN, S.C. – July 30, 2020 – Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour Stage 3 Presented by TrueTimber will air on Discovery channel in two segments on August 1 and August 8. Catch up on the action from Lake Fork, Texas earlier this spring as the top anglers in the world competed at the highest level. Fans can follow the action both Saturday mornings from 7 to 9 a.m. ET/PT. The August 1 airing will show the Stage 3 knockout round with the August 8 episode showing the championship round.

Fans are encouraged to keep an eye out for pro anglers and TrueTimber brand ambassadors, Edwin Evers and David Dudley as they compete and fight for big fish in the highly competitive field. Following the shortened 5 Stage season, Evers currently sits in 28 overall with 236 points and Dudley sits in the 21st spot overall with 251 points. Both anglers stand in the top 30 overall, qualifying them to compete in the 2021 REDCREST Championship in February.

“This was a great opportunity to get involved with the Bass Pro Tour and we are thrilled to see the event being aired on Discovery,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “We always love seeing Edwin and David compete at this level against some of the best in the world. Between those two and the rest of the field, fans are guaranteed to see an action-packed event.”

The traditionally eight stage MLF Bass Pro Tour, was reduced to five stages after successfully completing three stages earlier this spring before events were forced to be postponed in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19. For the safety of all involved, fan events and gatherings were cancelled for the remainder of the season. Fans will have the opportunity to get full event coverage live at MajorLeagueFishing.com and when each stage is aired on Discovery Channel. Standings in the abbreviated five-stage tour now count towards the 2021 REDCREST Championship qualification.
